When I first saw these socks I was hesitant because Spring was coming and they looked pretty thick. However, once I took the plunge and wore them for a run I loved them. They are great for any length run. But I really like them on middle distance runs (they would be great for long runs, but I wear compression socks for anything over 10 miles). They help wick away moisture great and they have enough padding in the right places that my feet don’t get beat up at all on longer runs. They are very light too and once I start running I cannot even tell I have them on. I have not wore them in very warm weather yet, but I have worn them for a few treadmill runs and my feet did not over heat. They are a great, lightly padded sock for any distance run.
