The Elsie Dairy Dash is a pretty fun small-town race.  It takes place during Elsie’s summertime festival (parade, craft fair, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, carnival, etc) so there is lots going on.

The highlight of this race is probably the shirt, which totes a slogan saying something like “Why run with the bulls when you can run with the heifers?”.

The course is flat and comprises of all roads in town.  However, in the past, there have been multiple (2-3) hairpin turns in a single 5k race.  This definitely makes it a lot harder than it needs to be.
