The Gatorade Recover Whey Protein Bars are friggen scrumptious. Flavor and overall deliciousness and easy 5 out of 5 stars for sure.
The only down side for me is that they are a lot of calories. This means that I’d only eat one of these bars after an especially long and/or hard workout as to justify all the calories from it. If they came in a half-size, I’d definitely consider consuming them a lot more often. I guess I could justify 350 calories if it were part of an actual meal supplement, but for me they are just recovery fuel to help start the recovering process, and my real calories will be from my next meal (consisting of more real foods).
Per each 2.8oz bar, they each contain about 20g protein, 42g cards, and weigh in around 350 calories.
