Leslie Park Nature Area and Black Pond Nature Area

Motor vehicle entrances: Leslie Science Center off of Traver Rd., and also off of Leslie Park Circle off of Dhu Varren Rd.

Pedestrian entrances: Traver Rd. just north of the Leslie Science Center, off of Pontiac Trail Road, and a couple entrances off the east side of the Arrowwood Trail Rd. neighborhood.

Terrain: Mainly pretty flat dirt and grassy trails.

Leslie Park and Black Pond Nature Areas offer a decent amount of area on the north side of Ann Arbor. There are some branching trails with lots of area to explore. It’s all pretty flat but still plenty pretty all-around.

Points of interest: Some windy dirt forested trails are my favorite part of the area.
