  1. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The only reason I took a half star off was due to the price of the shoe. I was very hesitant in buying these shoes because of the price. I had been having a lot of knee and back pain and had switched my foot strike to mid-foot, but it still wasn’t getting better. I was running in Asics gel neo 33 and the gel excel, which helped the pain some but never got rid of it completely. I read about Newtons over the last year and people kept talking about how it made their pain disappear, but I thought that sounded a bit ridiculous. However, a couple months ago I finally gave in because my pain was starting to make me back off in miles and days. And now I am one of those ridiculous people who say the same thing. Within 2 days my pain was completely gone and has stayed gone over the last two months. You do have to be careful though when you switch to this shoe because it has a super small heel to toe drop so you can injure your calves or achilles easily, so if you switch definitely ease in to them. I also think the colors are fun, and supposedly you can get more miles out of these shoes, but I haven’t had them long enough. I’ll update when I figure that out first hand. I was previously getting about 300-350 on my shoes, hoping with the price increase in these that I can get more than that. If you are starting to give up on running due to injury or want a shoe that makes it easier to run with a mid-foot strike than I definitely recommend these. They make running feel easier, because the way the lugs are in the front of the shoe in makes you more efficient. Love them! 🙂

  2. This is still my go to shoe. I am on my third pair. I just feel very comfortable in these shoes. I can wear them for any type of run and I never have problems. I road run, treadmill run, and wet or dry trail run and don’t have any issues. The bottoms of my feet are rarely ever sore (only once or twice when I was running on super rough trail). And my knee and back pain I was experiencing before I started running in these shoes is pretty much completely gone. I still love them, and definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good solid shoe that helps with mid foot running and is super versatile.
