These Opedix Men’s Dual-Tec 2.0 3/4 Length Tights are a capri-style tight that are supposed to help you stay “kinetically aligned” during exercise. The use a 23-panel construction designed to help you maximize your performance, using a technology called “Torque Reform Technology”–aka much more than just compression.

- improve performance
- improve alignment and joint function

- enhance proprioception (I had to look this word up)
After using these quite a few times for both longer runs (8-13 miles) and speed workouts, they do definitely feel pretty darn good. The first time out they were super stiff and felt even a little inhibiting, but once broken in they just felt really supportive. I haven’t really ever had issues with alignment or joint function (at least at any noticeable level), so I can’t fairly say they have made an improvement on me, but much like the Opedix Core-Tec Men’s Shorts, I very much appreciate the extra support (compared to regular tights or shorts) during long or hard workouts. I do notice that my legs feel better after harder efforts when using these products versus standard, non-supportive apparel.
Overall they are pretty comfortable (once a little broken in–they are definitely tight, but in no way uncomfortable), breathe well, don’t seem to get too stinky, and most of all feel good on my legs during harder effort runs. They are certainly pricey, but if they hold up and continue to work well for awhile (much like the shorts linked above), they should be well worth it. I look forward to using these more and will report back further thoughts down the road.
