The RoadID Shoe ID is a velcro attached, stainless steel engraved ID tag that is easily attachable to a shoe. I attached mine through the laces (see below) and it stays attached quite well. It is useful for emergency contact information, as well as any allergy, medication, or other medical information. It is definitely light weight, as I can’t feel it on my shoe, although it occasionally makes a slight flapping sound, which doesn’t bother me at all.

Additionally, its overall purpose is a great, and can help give a little peace of mind to loved ones when you’re out running, biking, or hiking alone and/or out in the middle of nowhere.

I had another RoadID Shoe ID several years ago, and after less than a couple years the metal surface was warn illegible, apparently just from the shoe laces rubbing it away, even though it is etched metal. I will update the durability score on this one to reflect a better experience, if it seems it holds up longer.
