The Autumn Classic is a solid fall road race around Lake Lansing in Okemos, MI. I feel that an 8k is kind of an irregular distance, so I consider any occasional races at this distance more of a fun run. That being said, this race usually brings a decent number of competitors so it’s still a fast race.
The atmosphere is positive and fun–the area is pretty scenic. The course is pretty flat and circles around the lake.
