Bowerman and the Men of Oregen by Kenny Moore is a great historical anthology of Oregon’s men’s distance running program. From the man himself, long-time head coach and Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, to great runners such as Steve Prefontaine and the author himself, this book chronicles lot of stories regarding in individuals overs the years and the team itself. I found it really interesting and a really good read. Author Moore, who is an often-contributor to Runners World Magazine, does the program justice with this book. It also contains a lot of really good photographs as well.
