Flirt With Dirt is a really fun trail race in a place that I wasn’t expecting to have such a nature-y area.  The course is fun–tight, windy trails, lots of hairpins, a bunch of smaller hills, with roots and rocks galore.  It’s definitely challenging, but a total blast.

The atmosphere is great.  The thing to note is to sign up early since this race has a cap due to the park’s smaller size.

The not-so-greats were that parking is a zoo, so arrive early. Also, minimal bathroom/portopotty access so arrive with time to wait in line. Lastly, the people with water on the course only actually HANDED it to me one out of 2 stops, so I missed the one where they thought I would grab a cup off a table myself while I’m trying to race!
