I should have definitely tried the Asics ASX Brief underwear a lot sooner, because they seem pretty wonderful. They are super light, breathable, and comfortable. They offer some minimal “compression paneling”, claim to contain an “anti odor technology” (I still wear them a couple times TOPS before washing… just to be civilized.), and the wide waistband is super comfy too.
They are made of 54% nylon, 37% polyester, and 9% spandex. I am usually a size 30-31″ waist (for pants), so I got the S/M size which claims to be for 32-34″ waists and I still find them pretty snug–wearable and still comfortable, but at my personal limit. I generally like waists looser than most, so I might even try the next size up for the next pair, which I am sure to buy.
