This BodyArmor SuperDrink is a new hydration beverage I saw at the store, so I gave it a try. So far I have just tried the Orange Mango and it was delicious. Here are my brief thoughts:
On the plus side, it tastes great, quenched my thirst, has real cane sugar (as opposed to HFCS), contains coconut water (concentrate), and has electrolytes and vitamins and minerals.
The negatives are that it doesn’t seem to have any actual real food in it aside from coconut water (it says “natural orange mango flavor with other natural flavors”… vague and mysterious.) and comes in a plastic bottle. Yes, I will recycle it, but most of the time I prefer not to consume a lot out of a ton of plastic bottles–I still see it as useful. But at the same time, it can’t be helped–sometimes ya just crave something new and different.
Overall this product tasted pretty darn good. I will probably not usually pick it over my go-to array of delicious Gatorade flavors, but sometimes I might!
