Circuit Training

Circuit Training is both a good upper-body and cross training workout.  Circuit training also allows you to get a real cardio and full-body workout in a short amount of time.

In general, circuit training is consisted of doing a series of different short-duration exercises without rest in between each, taking a short break, and then repeating the same series one or more times.

An example of of a circuit:

10 down-ups/burpies (start standing, do a push-up, rise quickly to your feet, and jump up into the air as high as you can), 20 ab maneuvers, a 40 meter sprint, 10 jumps up onto a park bench, 15 tricep dips, 5 pullups. Take a 1-minute break (grab a drink?), then go again.  Do 3-5 times total.

Do whatever activities seem fun or challenging to you.  A local park is often a fun place to do circuits, but they can also be done inside your own house too.
