The Guardian Hunting Series Dog Light is a great little clip on LED light from Stunt Puppy (pictured below coupled with the Stunt Puppy Go Dog Glo High Visability Vest) that I’ve used while both running and walking our pup both on and off leash. It has worked really well for bonus visibility during poorer lighting adventures. It can either set to just be on or to blink–I’ve generally used the always-on setting so far.
It has solid brightness for a little beacon, was to set up, is easy to use, and the initial battery has already given me a decent amount of time on it without dying on me yet.
Overall this is a good safety item to add to your dog’s goody collection if visibility is a safety concern in your area.
It is very nice for visibility. I use it in the dark when on runs (normally with a reflective vest also) so that others can see her very easily. I normally use just the solid setting. When I have it on blink it seems to distract her more right when I put it on because she tries to figure out where the blinking light/reflection on the walls are coming from, and it drives her (and me) a little crazy. I also use it at night or very early in the morning if I let her run around outside in the yard alone so that I can find her very easily, otherwise she is sneaky and tries to hide. She definitely cannot hide with her little beacon!
This had been a pretty decent product that we only changed the battery on once, but it came attached during a run the other day and I lost it. I can’t be for certain if it was my fault for not attaching it well or if it wasn’t possible to attach it super well. Bummer either way!
