Now I haven’t used this entirely as much at all for sports-nutritional reasons–I got it thinking I would start making my own on-the-run energy gu’s (maybe mix with maple syrup?), but it just hasn’t happened. However, I do use it often in my every day cooking.
Athletic-wise, I do use it semi often and just pre-run fuel (banana, slathered in some PB, drizzled in honey). It’s easy enough on the stomach that I can pretty much eat and head out the door and start running. It’s got good flavor, although for every day honey I will probably opt for honey harvested locally to my area.
