My Life on the Run by Bart Yasso is an autobiography of the author–from his accounts of a younger man riding bicycles back and forth across the country to his running on several different continents. This book is very personalable and Yasso has a very conversational voice. He continues today to be Runners World Magazine’s “Chief Running Officer” and has had many amazing experiences that he begins to account in this book.
There’s a good deal about running in this book, but there’s a good deal of life too. Yasso is funny and personable which both contribute to this book’s enjoyable read.
