Let’s be honest–yes, these shoes are pink for breast cancer awareness, which is, of course, great. But you know I got them just because they’re pink!
The Asics 1000-series got an overhaul (last version was the 1170), and I have been excited to try these, since this has been my go-to and primary shoe for the past 10+ years.
Overall, it feels much the same, which is good. The last version, the 1070, felt a little loose in the heel, and this version seems to have resolved that. It’s a basic trainer with neutral pronation with medium support. I will continue to support this shoe as my general trainer for roads and most trails alike.
