This Brooks running hat (also called a “toque” on the tag) has been my recent go-to winter beanie. It’s 100% acrylic and has medium-thickness, and has done pretty well keeping my head and ears protected even during the recent super cold days.
I have paired it with both my Stoic Merino Balaclava and my Original Buff (not at the same time, of course) for ultimate overall head and face protection.
I like that the hat is both bright for visibility-sake and also cozy. There isn’t really anything I’d change about it.
It was bought at the 2013 Niagara Falls International Marathon Expo and has been a great piece of memorabilia.
