The Crim Festival of Races is a large-scale race day and Flint does a great job of hosting.  With over 14,000 participants between the three races, it’s a busy and very exciting race.  It includes a pretty decent expo the day before the race (usually a Friday) and on race morning.  There is lots of in-race support, with many organizations outside of the Crim Race Foundation passing out various refreshments along the way as well.

The atmosphere is great, with several bands playing along the way and lots of other groups of people out cheering as well.  Post-race festivities include pizza, pop, and beer tent and usually other fun to be had as well.

The course itself is definitely challenging but fun, with the famous series of the Bradley Hills around the mid point of the course.
